Welcome to the WGN Members Update for June. A warm welcome to our new members who have joined us since the beginning of the month.
We have plenty of news again this month regarding upcoming event and clinic opportunities.
Sunday 27th June at
Oxley Driving Range - FREE members clinic / BBQ
- Register you name by sending Lee an email on events@wgn.org.au and join us at Oxley Driving Range for a morning on the range for a ladies promotion with tips from Lee, Corinne and Ann O'Neill plus demo's, mini competitions and a BBQ to finish.
- A great morning to invite friends who may want to join or start golf.
- Members FREE. Guests $15
- 9-11am On Range activities
- 11am BBQ (donation to Just 4 kids charity)
- 12 noon Optional 9 holes at Corinda (additional cost $15, $20 guests)
- Proving a big hit with members is the weekly Game at Corinda (cliveden Ave, Oxley) - Email Lee on events@wgn.org.au to play
- Play 9 Holes with other members in a fun game. Learn rules and scoring and meet other members.
- Every Monday 7.00-8.00pm Lee conducts a supervised practice for members at Oxley Driving Range. All members are welcome to attend.
- A special price of $15pp includes bucket of balls and tuition.
- Weekly event at Carrara Gardens 12 holes every Wednesday morning. Turn up between 7.00-7.30am and join other ladies having fun and learning.
- Cost $13 green fee + $4 comp fee.

Are you wanting to play a game on a certain day but need some partners to join you. We are offering a service to allow members to link up with each other and play some golf. Email Lee with your name and best contact and we can link members who have the same days free to play. Also a great way to meet new friends.

- Australian School Teachers Championships - Palm Meadows
- September 26 , 27 and 28th
- All are invited to play joining teachers in a fun 3 days. 3 Divisions Handicap and non handicap events.
- October 10th - 18 Holes Stroke
- Players must be working and have an official handicap to play in this event
- WGN has a weekend 8th / 9th / 10th of events
- Friday 8th - Tuition and 9 holes
- Saturday 9th - 18 Hole Charity ambrose Just 4 Kids
- Sunday 10th - 18 hole championship event for eligible players
- Sunday 10th - 18 / 9 / Clinic options available for other players
- A weekend and accommodation package will be released soon.
- All are invited to play joining in a fun 3 days.
- There will be events for partners and non handicapped players around the Championship event.
